All swimmers should support the Bishop Stortford Open, which has no QTs. Over 12s are encouraged to enter as many 100s for which you qualify. See Anne and Carmen. NO SWIMMING ON BANK HOLIDAYS Normally HPSC is able to continue swimming during school holidays. However, we cannot get pool time on bank holidays at Haileybury for May 5th and 26th. Sorry. TRIBUTE TO ERIC SHEPHERD Harlow Penguins Vice President and Essex County ASA judge, Eric Shepherd passed away this week. He will be greatly missed by all his friends, colleagues and swimmers. RESULTS ESSEX LEAGUE DIV2 ROUND4 Harlow Penguins achieved 3rd place in a very enjoyable final gala. Overall we achieved a very respectable 4th place. There were many excellent PBs. Please check the sheet for relay results and times. PUBLIC SWIMMING AT HAILEYBURY Haileybury Sports Complex is 15 minutes down the 414. The pool is on the warmer side. Public swimming costs £4 or £2.50 for members (membership is £26 a year). Harlow Penguins' Masters swimmer Alyson Fordham took victory at the Masters Championship, Sheffield, in the 50-54 Age Group, in 100m and 200m Freestyle, for which she set a new British Record of 2:27.90.
