Qualified Swimming Instructor
Harlow Penguins SC is seeking to recruit an additional swimming instructor
to work alongside our existing team of Head Coach and Level 1 support teachers,
implementing the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
Applicants must be qualified to a minimum ASA Teaching Aquatics Level 2
and hold a current NPLQ certificate. (STA equivalent qualifications will be
considered).
Initial hours of employment will be 11 hrs as of 21 March 2010:
Monday 7-9pm Haileybury Sports Complex
Tuesday 6.30-9pm Burnt Mill School
Wednesday 6.30-9pm Burnt Mill School
Thursday 6.30-8.30pm Leventhorpe School
Friday 6.30-8.30pm Burnt Mill School
Moving to 6hrs at Harlow LeisureZone pool as
of approx. 26 April 2010:
Monday 5-6pm
Tuesday 5-6.30pm
Wednesday 5-6pm
Thursday 5-6.30pm
Friday 6-7pm
Rates of pay will be £15 per hour, self-employed contract, with 1 month
period of notice.
There may be opportunity for additional hours, and training support,
once the Club grows into its new permanent home in Harlow.
Instructors must be CRB-checked and have own personal liability
insurance via the IoS or STA. Public liability
insurance, Club Membership and Membership of the ASA will be covered by HPSC.
