If like mine, your child develops an allergic reaction to pool water resulting in dry skin and "panda eyes", this might be exacerbated by latex and foam goggles (virtually the only sort sold on the high-street). Silicone goggles can be bought from most specialist swimming websites for around £10 and may solve matters. "Swedish" goggles (no surround seal at all) are also available.
