Essex Block A 2005

Ignoring finals 25+ Harlow Penguin swimmers competed in 85 50m races and 4 relay races in the first weekend of the Essex County Championships. There are almost 30 teams in Essex competing and last year we finished an extremely creditable sixth!!

Over this weekend we secured 30 (26 in 2004) final places winning 5 events outright (3 in 2004), second in 7 events (4 in 2004) and third in 5 events (3 in 2004). Our remaining 13 finalists (16 in 2004) were on the podium receiving pennants for coming 4th, 5th or 6th.
