Southern Counties Championships - Youth (May 1st,2nd & 3rd 2004)

Kate Burley and Karl Batorski were Harlow Penguins sole representatives at a very cold Crystal Palace over the Mayday Bank holiday.

Karls decision to board at the flats during the 3 day competition was, in hindsight, a wise one when he returned to wet Harlow with a first place in the 200IM. Karl is the Southern County Champion of England beating swimmers from the counties of Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Middlesex, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, South Buckinghamshire and of course Essex!!!

Karls results at the Long Course pool are as follows. These are for the 15/16 year age group.
