Club Championships Day 3 (21st November 2003)   

Club Championships Day 3 provided another night of great competitive swimming by Harlow Penguins' Junior and Senior swimmers. Poolside gossip is that many swimmers have beaten there personal bests - all times and positions can be found here. George will confirm which individual records have been broken within the next few weeks - look out for them on the notice board and here on the web.

Alan Mitchell, currently having a well deserved weekend break, will be extremely proud of all the swimmers. Ken was impressed with all diving, turns and stroke technique - yet again there were no disqualifications.

Well done everyone - just a special mention for Harry Newman who at 10 years of age swam the 200m fly in just under 4 minutes 20 seconds. Harry deserved the cheers from the 25 plus people around poolside and the spectators in the stands.
