Essex County Championships 2011 This year, three swimmers qualified for the 2011 Essex County Championship. Jasmine Hind (13), Mason Arnold (13) and John Reynolds (16) all swam in the 50M Freestyle at Southend-on-Sea pool during February and March. Mason Arnold (13) who was ranked 24th in Essex prior to the championship achieved the highest ranking. He knocked 1.5 seconds of his personal best in the heats (29.43), and also achieved another personal best in the final (29.27) in which he was placed 5th. Jasmine Hind and John Reynolds both performed well and both remain highly ranked in Essex for their age groups. Jasmine is ranked 25th and John is ranked 18th. Claire Lintonbon-Baker Press Officer |
