Halsted Open, 17 April 2011 On Sunday 17 April 2011, Penguins sent 12 swimmers to the Halsted Open Level 3ER1215 Meet. There were outstanding performances from our older swimmers. John Reynolds swam a Regional qualifying time, unfortunately 2 weeks after the closing date, for 16y 50m Fly in 29.81. He also took Bronze in 50m Free in 29.00. Kyle Panton won Bronze in 200m Free in 2:19.55 and then took 4th in 100m Free with a huge PB of 1:04.09. Other medals: Bradley Vietch - Bronze in 100m Free. Amy Edwards - Bronze in 100m Fly, and 4th in 50m Back. Luke Guerrati: Bronze in 50m Fly and 50m Breast. Fourth place medals for: Jasmine Hind in 50m and 100m Free, Jamie Rushworth in 100m IM. Fifth and 6th place medals: Georgia Andrew, Jamie Rushworth, John Reynolds, Kyle Panton, Jasmine Hind, Bradley Veitch and Joel Chan. As well as superb PBs from Celeste Andrew, Chloe Mitchell and Ellie Dee. |
