Borough of Waltham Forest Secondary Age Group Meet Saturday 2nd April 2011 Some older swimmers travelled to Walthamstow to take part in the Borough of Waltham Forest Swimming Club Open Meet. All swimmers achieved at least one PB, and there were a number of medals won. Gold medals were won by Luke Guerrati (14) in the 50M Butterfly with a PB time of 32.63, Bradley Veitch (12) in 50M Freestyle in a PB time of 32.09 and Jasmine Hind (13) in 200M IM with a PB time of 2.54:44. Silver medals were won by Chloe Mitchell (11) in 50M Butterfly with a PB time of 41.15, Luke Guerrati (14) in 50M Freestyle with a PB time of 30.30, John Reynolds (16) in 100M Freestyle in a PB time of 1.00:85 and 200M IM (**). Bronze medals were won by Mason Arnold (13)in 100M Freestyle with a PB time of 1.07:19, Jasmine Hind (13) in 200M Breaststroke in 3:18:18 and Joel Chan (13) in 400M IM with a PB time of 7.10:04. This was a massive PB for Joel having taken over a minute off his PB. Joel also took over a minute off his PB for 400M Freestyle with 6:00:69 but just missed out on a medal. Other excellent swims where PB’s were broken: Joel Chan (13) in 50M Freestyle (36.07), Luke Guerrati (14) in 200M IM (2.46.01) and 100M Freestyle (1.09:69) , Chloe Mitchell (11) in 50M Freestyle (36.30), Victoria Tee (13) in 50M Freestyle (35.70), Tomas Clark (10) in 200M Breaststroke (4.01:42) and Saul Lintonbon-Baker (11) in 200M Breaststroke (4.08:38).
